Meeting and even rubbing elbows with some of the country's famous celebrities may be appear extra-ordinary for some people here, however, as an emerging entertainment journalist, it has become routinary, if not ordinary for me.
But if there's one famous Lebanese that I would like to meet someday, she is none other than our first and so far only Miss Universe titleholder of 1971, Georgina Rizk of Lebanon. Believe it or not, but I even wrote a term paper about her back in college!
I wasn't born yet when she won in this most prestigious pageant in Miami Beach Florida, but my mother has told me a lot of stories about her, like making a memorable fashion statement during the coronation night—she wore a very revealing top and hotpants—which I already saw in You Tube just last week.
I wonder how I could meet Georgina Rizk and perhaps write an article about her, if this would happen, then I'd be the happiest person in the universe!
